٥٦ ـ محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن عمر التحيوى، أبو أحمد اليمنى: كان ينوب عن عمه الوزير على بن محمد فى فصل قضاء الناس. وما فعله لم يعارضه فيه، وهو مع ذلك فى الغالب سالكا طريق الزهد. وكان عالى الهمة. جاور بمكة مدة سنين. توفى يوم الخميس تاسع عشر ذى القعدة سنة اثنتى عشرة وسبعمائة. ذكره الملك الأفضل عباس بن المجاهد صاحب اليمن فى كتابه «العطايا السنية» ومنه لخصت هذه الترجمة.
