٤٩ ـ محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن أبى بكر، يلقب بالجمال ابن الصفى، الطبرى، المكى: سمع جامع الترمذى من يوسف بن إسحاق الطبرى. وسمع من جماعة، وحدث. سمع منه جماعة من شيوخنا، وقرأت الجامع على بعضهم عنه.ومات فى ليلة الجمعة الحادى والعشرين من صفر سنة خمس وثلاثين وسبعمائة بمكة. ودفن بالمعلاة. هكذا وجدت وفاته بخط إبراهيم بن يونس البعلبكى.
