١٦ ـ محمد بن أحمد بن الحسن بن الزين محمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد القسطلانى المكى، الحنفى، يلقب بالجمال: سمع بمكة: من الشيخ جمال الدين الأميوطى، وعبد الله النشاورى وغير هما. وسمع بمصر: من بعض شيوخنا بالسماع، وبالشام من بعض شيوخنا بالإجازة وأظنه سمع بمكة من عبد الرحمن بن الثعلبى. وله اشتغال بالعلم ونباهة. وكتب بخطه عدة كتب، وكتب الوثائق أيضا. توفى فى حادى عشر ذى الحجة سنة إحدى وثمانمائة بمنى، ودفن بالمعلاة فى صبيحة اليوم الثانى فى مقبرة أسلافه، وقد بلغ الأربعين أو قاربها.
