    ٢٩٤٣ - يزيد بن يزيد بن جابر، الأزدي الشامي قال أبو داود: قلت لأحمد: يزيد بن يزيد بن جابر؟ قال: بخٍ. "سؤالات أبي داود" (٢٧٨). قال ابن هانئ: قيل له: يزيد بن يزيد بن جابر، هو أخو عبد الرحمن ابن يزيد بن جابر؟ قال: نعم، عبد الرحمن أقدم موتًا وأثبت منه، إن شاء اللَّه. "مسائل ابن هانئ" (٢٣٨٦). قال عبد اللَّه: قال أبي: قال ابن عيينة: رجلان صالحان يستسقى بهما، ابن عجلان، ويزيد بن يزيد بن جابر. "العلل" رواية عبد اللَّه (٨٧)، (٧١٨). قال أبو طالب: قال أحمد بن حنبل: يزيد بن يزيد بن جابر لا بأس به، من صالحيهم. "الجرح والتعديل" ٩/ ٢٩٦، "تهذيب الكمال" ٣٢/ ٢٧٧.
