    ٢٨٦١ - يحيى بن صالح الوحاظي، أبو زكريا الشامي الدمشقي سألت أبي عن يحيى بن صالح الحمصي الوحاظي؛ فقال: رأيته في جنازة أبي المغيرة. فجعل أبي يصفه (١)، قال أبي: أخبرني إنسان من أصحاب الحديث قال: قال يحيى بن صالح: لو ترك أصحاب الحديث عشرة أحاديث -يعني: هذِه الأحاديث التي في الرؤية. قال أبي: كأنه نزع إلى رأي جهم. "العلل" رواية عبد اللَّه (١٢٣٢). قال أبو زرعة الدمشقي: لم يقل -يعني: أحمد بن حنبل- في يحيى بن صالح إلا خيرًا. وقال مهنا بن يحيى: سألت أحمد بن حنبل عن يحيى بن صالح، فقال: رأيته، ولم يحمده.
