٢٧٧٧ - هناد بن السري بن مصعب، أبو السري الدارمي وقال المروذي: سمعت أبا عبد اللَّه قال: ما بالكوفة مثل هنّاد بن السري هو شيخهم. فقيل له: هو يحدث من كتاب ورّاقة؛ فجعل يسترجع، ثم قال: إن كان هكذا لم يكتب عن هنّاد شيء. "العلل" رواية المروذي وغيره (٢٨٣)، "شرح علل الترمذي" لابن رجب ١/ ٢٥١ قال أبو حامد الإسفرائيني: سمعت أحمد بن حنبل وسئل عمن نكتب بالكوفة، فقال: عليكم بهناد.
