٢٥٥٤ - معروف بن الفيرزان، أبو محفوظ الكرخي قال أبو سعيد بن الأعرابي: قال أحمد: معروف من الأبدال، وهو مجاب الدعوة. وذكر في مجلس أحمد، فقال بعض من حضره: هو قصير العلم؛ فقال أحمد: أمسك عافاك اللَّه، وهل يراد من العلم إلا ما وصل إليه معروف.
