١٥٧٨ - عبد الرحمن بنى زياد بن أنعم، أبو خالد الإفريقي قال المروذي: قيل له: يروى عن الأفريقي؟ قال: لا، هو منكر الحديث، وقد دخل على أبي جعفر، فتكلم بكلام حسن، فقال له وأحسن ووعظه. "العلل" رواية المروذي وغيره (٢٠٤) قال أبو طالب: قال أحمد بن حنبل: عبد الرحمن بن زياد بن أنعم الإفريقي ليس بشيء. "الجرح والتعديل" ٥/ ٢٣٤، "تهذيب الكمال" ١٧/ ١٠٥قال أبو زكريا يحيى بن محمد بن يحيى: سمعت أحمد بن حنبل يقول: لا أكتب حديث موسى بن عبيدة الربذي، ولا حديث عبد الرحمن ابن زياد الإفريقي.
