٢٢٤ - إبراهيم بن زياد البغدادي، أبو إسحاق سبلان قال مهنا: سألت أحمد عن إبراهيم بن زياد سبلان يكون في الكرخ، قال: لا بأس به، كان معنا عند هشيم، وقد سمع من عباد بن عباد المهلبي. "تاريخ بغداد" ٦/ ٧٧، "تهذيب الكمال" ٢/ ٨٦. قال أحمد بن عثمان: سمعت أحمد بن حنبل يقول: إذا مات إبراهيم سبلان، ذهب علم عباد بن عباد. "تاريخ بغداد" ٦/ ٧٧، "تهذيب الكمال" ٢/ ٨٦، "بحر الدم" (٢٤).
