تاريخ مولد العلماء ووفياتهم" لمحمد بن زبر الربعي الدمشقي (ت ٣٧٩ هـ). يبدأ من السنة الأولى من الهجرة، إلى سنة سبع وخمسين وثلاثمائة، يذكر في كل سنة مَن مات، ومَن وُلد من الأعلام، وأحيانًا يذكر بعض الحوادث المهمة. فذكر مولد الإمام أحمد في سنة أربع وستين ومائة (١/ ٣٨١) من رواية ابن أبي خيثمة، واختلف في وفاته، فذكرها في سنة إحدى وأربعين ومائتين (٢/ ٥٢٩) من رواية عباس الدوري، وفي سنة اثنتين وأربعين ومائتين (٢/ ٥٣١) من رواية أبي أمية. - "
