الكنى والأسماء" للدولابي (ت ٣١٠ هـ). ابتدأه بذكر اسم رسول اللَّه ﷺ، وكنيته، ثم المعروفين بالكنى من أصحابالنبي ﷺ، ثم كنى المعروفين بالاسم منهم، ثم كنى التابعين. وكل قسم من هذِه الأقسام مرتب على الحروف. فذكر الإمام أحمد فيمن كنيته أبو عبد اللَّه (٢/ ٨٤)، ولم يذكر عنه شيئًا سوى اسمه. - "
