١٣٨ - إسماعيل بن عبد اللَّه، أبو النضر العجلي (ت ٢٧٠ هـ) إسماعيل بن عبد اللَّه بن ميمون بن عبد الحميد بن أبي الرجال، أبو النضر العجلي، مروزي الأصل، وهو ابن أخي نوح بن ميمون المضروب. سمع عبيد اللَّه بن موسى العبسي، وعبد الرحمن بن قيس الزعفراني، والإمام أحمد، ونقل عنه مسائل كثيرة. روى عنه محمد بن خلف الدوري، ومحمد بن جعفر المطيري، وأبو الحسن ابن المنادي. قال النسائي: مروزي، ليس به بأس. مات ليلة الاثنين، ودفن يوم الاثنين لثلاث وعشرين خلت من شعبان سنة سبعين ومائتين، وقد بلغ أربعا وثمانين سنة (٢).
