١١١ - جعفر بن محمد بن هذيل الوفي (ت ٢٦٠ هـ) أبو عبد اللَّه القناد، ابن بنت أبي أسامة حماد بن أسامة. روى عن: عبد الحميد بن بيان السكري، عمرو بن حماد القناد، وأبي نعيم الفضل. وروى عنه: النسائي، وأحمد بن سلام، وعلي بن العباس البجلي. وثقه النسائي. وذكره أبو بكر الخلال، ومدحه، وقال: عنده عن أبي عبد اللَّه مسائل صالحة. مات في جمادى الأولى سنة ستين ومائتين (٣).
