    ٣٣ - عبد اللَّه بن عمر، مشكدانة (ت ٢٣٩ هـ) عبد اللَّه بن عمر بن محمد بن أبان بن صالح بن عمير القرشي، أبو عبد الرحمن الكوفي، المعروف بمشكدانة. قال: إنما لقبني مشكدانة أبو نعيم، كنت إذا أتيته تلبست وتطيبت، فإذا رآني قال: قد جاءكم مشكدانة. وقيل: سماه به أهل خراسان، ومشكدانة بلغتهم: وعاء المسك. روى عن: سلام بن سليم، وابن المبارك، وعبد اللَّه بن نمير، والدراوردي. وروى عنه: مسلم، وأبو داود، وابن أبي الدنيا، وأبو زرعة، وأبو حاتم الرازيان. قال أبو حاتم: صدوق. مات سنة تسع وثلاثين ومائتين (٣).
