    ٨٦٦ - ما جاء في الزهد فيما في أيدي الناس حديث سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ: "ازْهَدْ فِي الدُّنْيَا يُحِبَّكَ اللَّهُ، وَازْهَدْ فِيمَا فِي أَيْدِي الناسِ يُحِبُّوكَ" (٢). قال الإِمام أحمد -عندما سئل عن هذا الحديث: لا إله إلَّا اللَّه تعجبًا- من يروى هذا الحديث؟ قيل له: خالد بن عمرو. فقال: وقعنا في خالد بن عمرو، وسكت. قال ابن رجب: مراده الإِنكار على من ذكر له شيئًا من حديث خالد هذا، فإنه لا يشتغل به (٣).
