    ٧٩٩ - ما جاء في مسح الوجه بيده إذا فرغ من الدعاء فيه ثلاثة أحاديث: الأول: حديث عمر بن الخطاب ﵁ كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ إذا رفع يديه في الدعاء لم يحطهما حتى يمسح بهما وجهه (٣). قال الإمام أحمد: لم أسمع به. وقال مرة: لم أسمع فيه بشيء. وكان أحمد لا يفعله (٤).الثاني: حديث يزيد بن السائب ﵁ مثله (١). قال الإمام أحمد: أحسب أن قتيبة وهم فيه، يقولون عن خلاد بن السائب عن أبيه (٢). الثالث: حديث ابن عباس ﵄ نحوه (٣). قال الإمام أحمد: لا يعرف هذا -أنه كان يمسح وجهه بعد الدعاء- إلَّا من الحسن (٤).
