ما جاء في التكبير على الجنازة حديث ابن عباس ﵄: آخر جنازة صلى عليها رسول اللَّه ﷺ كبر عليها أربع (١). قال الإمام أحمد: محمد هذا روى أحاديث موضوعة، منها هذا. واستعظمه. قال: كان أبو المليح أتقى الناس، وأصح حديثًا من أن يروي مثل هذا. وقال: هذا الحديث إنما رواه محمد بن زياد الطحان (٢)، وكان يصنع الحديث (٣). وقال مرة: هذا كذب ليس له أصل، إنما رواه محمد بن زياد، وكان يضع الحديث (٤). وقال مرة: التكبير على الميت أربع عندي أثبت (٥).
