    ٣٢٨ - تلقين المحتضر الشهادة حديث عبد اللَّه بن أبي أوفى ﵁: إن ههنا غلامًا قد احتضر يقال له: قل: لا إله إلا اللَّه فلا يستطيع أن يقولها فقال: "أليس كان يقولها في حياته؟ " قال: بلى. قال: "فما منعه منها عند موته. . " (١). قال عبد اللَّه بن الإمام أحمد: لم يحدث أبي بهذا الحديث، ضرب عليه من كتابه, لأنه لم يرض حديث فائد بن عبد الرحمن، أو كان عنده متروك الحديث (٢).
