    ١٦٥ - إذا قال الإمام: مكانكم حتى ارجع قال الحسن بن ثواب: قيل لأبي عبد اللَّه -يعني أحمد بن حنبل- وأنا أسمع: النبي ﷺ حين أومأ إليهم أن امكثوا فدخل فتوضأ ثم خرج أكان كبر؟ فقال: يروى أنه كبر (١). وحديث أبي سلمة (٢) لما أخذ القوم أماكنهم من الصف قال لهم: "امكثوا" ثم خرج فكبر. قال ابن رجب في "الفتح": فبين أحمد أن حديث أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة يدل على أنه لم يكن يكبر. وأما قوله: (يروى أنه كبر) فيدل على أن ذلك قد روى وأنه مخالف لحديث أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة، وأن حديث أبي سلمة أصح وعليه العمل (٣).
