[٤٦٨] تغزي برمش ابن يوسف بن علي بن عبد الله, التركماني قدم القاهرة, وصحب الأمراء, وكان متعبدا. تخرّج به جماعة. وكان قائما في هدم البدع الاعتقادية, كثير العصبية للسنة. مع محبته للحنفية. وكان المؤيد يعظمه. وحج في ولايته, فجاور بمكة إلي أن مات في المحرم سنة ثلاث وعشرين وثمانمائة. اجتمعت به مرارا, وسمعت كلامه وفوائده. وكان أعداؤه يقعون فيه كثيرا, ويتهمونه بأمر فظيع.
