[٣٤٣] محمد بن أحمد ابن علي بن حسن بن جامع ابن اللبان المقرئ الدمشقي. ولد سنة أربع وسبعمائة أو بعدها. وعني بالقراءة فأخذ عن أبي حيان وغيره. وسكن دمشق وتصدى للإقراء وكان يحفظ الشواذ ويقرؤها ويُقرئ بها وربما قرأ بها فى الصلاة فأنكر عليه بعض الشافعية. وكان قد طلب بنفسه وقتاً وسمع بالإسكندرية من وجيهة وبالقاهرة من أحمد بن أبي طالب وغيره وحدث. ومات في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة يت وسبعين وسيعمائة.
