[٣٠٨] الحسين بن عمر ابن الحسن ابن حبيب الحلبي رف الدين. ولد في جادي الآخرة سنة اثنتي عشرة وسبعمائة وأسمع على أبيه وعبد الرحمن وإبراهيم ابني صالح ابن العجمي وطلب بنفسه ورحل إلى دمشق فأخذ عن ابن أبي التائب وأسماء بنت صصرى وغيرهما. وذكره الذهبي في "المعجم المختص" فقال: "شاب متيقظ سمع وخرج وكتب عني "الكاشف".وحدث عنه ابن عشائر وأثنى عليه بالفضل وحسن المحاضرة". وكانت وفاته في ذي الحجة سنة سبع وسبعين وسبعمائة.
