[١٥٩] علي (طس) بن عُبيد ابن داود بن أحمد بن يوسف بن مجلى المرداوي ثم الصالحي أخو الفقيه شمس الدين ابن عُبيد. ولد سنة تسع وثلاثين وسبعمائة واشتغل وكتب الخط الحسن. ١٤٩/م- وقرأت عليه المجلس الثاني والثالث من "مجالس المخلدي" بسماعه على أبي العباس أحمد بن عبد الرحمن المرداوي وقد تقدم سنده فى ترجمة شيخنا العراقي.مات سنة أربع وثمانمائة في حمادي الآخره. وكان معتمداً في الشهادة.
