٨٦٥ - لبيد بن ربيعة بن مالك بن جعفر الشَّاعر قال أبو عَروبَة في طبقة. (٣): ذكروا له وفادة على رسول الله ﷺ. وذكره غير واحد في جملة الصَّحَابَة. وزعم أبو الفرج الأَصْبهانِيّ (٤): أن صحبته مختلف فيها. وقال أبو أَحْمد العسكري: جاهلي، ليس تصح له وفادة. وقد أخرجه ابن أبي خيثمة في "المعجم" (٥). وله أخبار مع عمر، أسلم وحسُن إسلامه وقد ذكر في المؤلفة. قال الواقديّ: بعث به عمه: ملاعب الأسنة إلى النَّبِيّ ﷺ يسأله دواء لعلته. ويذكر غيره أن قدومه المدينة كان أيام عمر.
