٧٩٧ - فَهْم بن عَمرو بن قيس عَيلان، أبو ثور الفَهْمي قال أبو بكر بن أبي علي: ذكره أبو بكر بن أبي عاصم في "الآحاد". كذا ذكره أبو موسى، وكأنه غير جَيد؛ فإن فهمَ بن عمرو هَذا كان قبلَ الإسلام بدَهْر طويل، وإليه ينتسب الفهميونَ. هذا تأبط شرًّا، واسمه: ثابت بن جابر بن سفيانَ بن عدي بن كعب بن حرب بن تيم بن سعد بن فهم بن عَمرو بن قيس عيلان بن مضر، توفي قبل الإسلام، وبَينَه وبينَ فهم سبعة آباء، وقد ذُكر ابنه في الصَّحابة، فكيف يكون "فَهْم" صحابيًّا؛ هذا متعذر (٤).
