    ٢٦٥٢ - صيفي بن الأسلت، أبو قيس الأنصاري (¬٥). (بر). أحد بني وائل بن زيد، كان هو وأخوه وحوح قد صارا إلى مكة مع قريش فسكناها وأسلما يوم الفتح. قاله ابن إسحاق، وقال الزبير: لم يسلم أبو قيس بن الأسلت واسمه الحارث بن الأسلت قال: ويقال: عبد الله. قال أبو عمر (¬٦): وفيما ذكر الزبير وابن إسحاق نظر.

    ٤٥٩ - صَيْفي بن الأسلَت، أبو قيس الأنصاري أحد بني وائل بن زيد. قال أبو عُمر (١): كان هو وأخوه: وَحْوح قد صارا إلى مكة معَ قريش وأسلما يوم الفتح. ذكرهما ابن إسحاقَ. وقال الزبير: أبو قيس الشاعر لم يُسلم، واسمه: الحارث. قال: ويقال: عَبْد اللَّه. وفيما ذكر ابنُ إسحاقَ والزُبير نظر فِي أبي قيس.
