    ١٢٤ - جَابر بن ياسر بن عَويص فدك القِتباني قال أبو سعيد بن يونس: وممن شهد فتح مصر ممن له إدراك: جابر بنُ ياسر بن عَويص القِتْباني، جد عَياش وجَابر ابني عَباس بن جَابر. قاله ابن مندةَ، وأبو نعيم في كتاب الصَّحابة (١). والذي في "تاريخ ابن يونس": جَابر بن ياسر بن عَويص بن فَدك بن ذي إيوان بن عَمرو بن قيس بن سَلمة بن شَراحيلَ بن الحارث بن معاويةَ بن مرْتِع بن قتبان بن مُسبح بن وائل بن رُعَينْ القِتباني، شهد فتح مصر، وهو جَد عَياش وجَابر ابني عباس بن جَابر (٢). ولئن سَلمنا لهما ما ذكراه فليسَ فيه -أيضًا- دلالة على صحبة ولا رؤية. وقال ابن الجوزي، والصَغاني: في صحبته نظر (٣).
