١١٤ - ثابت بن مخلَّد بن يزيدَ بن مخلد بن حَارثة بن عَمرو الخَطْمي قتل يومَ الحرّة، لا عَقبَ لَه. روى حَديثه: محمَّد بن بكْر، عَن ابن جُريج، عَن ابن المنكدر، عن أبي أيوب، عن ثابت بن مُخلد يرفعه: "مَن ستر مُسلما". ذكره ابن مندةَ، وقال أبو نعيم (٣): هَذا وهم ظاهر؛ لأن الإثبات روَوه عَن محمَّد بن بكر فقالوا: عن ابن المنكدر، عَن مَسلمة بن مُخلَد، ورَواه يحيى بن أبي بكير، عَن ابن جريج فقال: مَسلمة بن مُخلد -أيضًا (٤).
