٣٧ - الأسْوَدُ بن سُفيانَ بن عَبْد الأسَد ابن هلال بن عَبد الله بن عُمر بن مَخْزوم، أخو هبَّار بن سُفيانَ، وابن أخي أبي سَلمة بن عَبد الأسَد. قال أبو عُمر (٢): في صُحْبته نظَر، وذكر أبو موسى الديني عَن عَبدان أنه قال: لا يعرف له رواية؛ إلا أن ابن عَياش ذكر اسمَه وسَماه: أسوَد بن عَبد الأسَد. وكأنه غير جَيد؛ لأن الكلبي (٣) والمُصْعبَ، وابن أخيه، وَغيرهم قالوا: إن الأسودَ بن عبد الأسد قُتل ببدر كافرا (٤).
