[مات في رمضان سنة ٣٨١]. سعد الدين: لقب جماعة من العلماء، أجلهم مسعود بن عمر التّفْتَازاني (٧)، • والشيخ محمد بن مؤيد الحُموي (٨)، مات سنة ٦٥٨، • والشيخ ... الكاشغري (٩)، مات [سنة] ٨٩٦، • وشيخ الإسلام محمد بن حسن جان المعروف بخواجه أفندي (١٠)، مات سنة ١٠٠٨ وقد اشتهر بسعد الدين حتى صار لا يعرف اسمه، ورأيت في رسالة له أن اسمه محمد صرّح به نفسه.السَّعْداني: [نسبة] إلى سعدان جدّ (١). السُّعْدُوني: [نسبة] إلى سعدون جدّ (٢).
