٧٢٥٦ - الرَّحّال: [نسبة] إلى الرِّحلة والرّحل، وعرف به بشير الزاهد لأنه كان يرحِّل الحاج. والرُّحْلة: بالضم والإسكان وفي الأصل أي اللغة هي الجهة التي يرتحل إليها العَالِم والذي يرتحل إليه طلاب العلم كثيرًا، وبضم الراء وفتح الحاء الطالب يرتحل إلى العلماء كثيرًا (٥). الرَّحَائي: [نسبة] إلى الرحاء المعروفة، وإلى رحا موضع بسجستان (٦).
