٥٤٩٠ - يوسف بن محمد بن أحمد المستنجد [بالله العباسي (٢)، مولده سنة ٥٠٨ وأمه أم ولد كرجية تسمى طاوس. بويع بعد أبيه سنة ٥٥٥ وكان نقش خاتمه "المستنجد من أحب نفسه عمل لها"، وكان أسمر طويل اللحية معتدل القامة شجاعًا مهابًا أديبًا فصيحًا قيل إنه رأى في حياة أبيه ملكًا نزل من السماء فكتب في كفه أربع خاءات معجمات فأَوَّلَه له أحدهم بأنه يلي الخلافة خمس وخمسين وخمسمائة فكان كذلك، وتوفي في يوم السبت ثامن من ربيع الآخر سنة ٥٦٦، وكانت خلافته إحدى عشرة سنة وشهرًا واحدًا وعمره ثمان وأربعين وتخلف ابنه المستغني].
