٥٤٦٢ - المولى العالم الفاضل يوسف بن حسين الكرماستي (٥)، المتوفى بقسطنطينية سنة ست وتسعمائة. قرأ على المولى خواجه زاده وبرع في العلوم ثم صار مدرسًا بمدارس منها الصحن، ثم صار قاضيًا ببروسا ثم بقسطنطينية سنة ٩٥١ ومات منفصلًا عنها. وكان في قضائه مرضي السيرة لا يخاف في الله لومة لائم. وله مصنفات منها، "حاشية المطول" و"شرح الوقاية" و"الوصول إلى علم الأصول" متن ومختصره المسمى بالوجيز، قيل هو"التبيين" ثم شرحه وسماه ب "البيان"، و"حاشية المختصر و"حواشي على شرح المواقف" و"المفتاح" ورسائل، لكن جميع تأليفاته ما حرره. كذا قال المولى عرب زاده.
