٥٣٠٥ - الشيخ الإمام الزاهد أبو سعيد يحيى بن زكريا بن أبي زائدة الكُوفي الحنفي (٤)، المتوفى بها سنة ثلاث وثمانين ومائة، عن ثلاث وستين سنة. سمع أباه وهشام بن عمرو والأعمش وحجَّاج بن أرطأة (٥) وغيرهم، وروى عنه يحيى بن آدم وقتيبة وأحمد بن حنبل ويحيى بن معين. وكان من العلماء الأعلام ومن أجلاء أصحاب أبي حنيفة. ولي قضاء المدائن وقدم بغداد وحدَّث بها وانتهى العلم إليه في زمانه ولم يكن بالكوفة بعد الثوري أثبت منه. وكان ممن جُمع له الفقه والحديث، يُعَدّ من حفّاظ الكوفة. قال الخطيب: هو أول من صنّف الكتب بالكوفة. ذكره تقي الدين.
