٥٠٢٦ - الشيخ الإمام مُعَلَّى بن منصور الرَّازي الحنفي (٥)، المتوفى ببغداد سنة إحدى عشرة ومائتين. سكن بغداد وحدّث بها عن مالك بن أنس واللّيث بن سعد، وأبي عَوَانة وأبي يوسف، وروى عنه علي بن المديني وأبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وأبو خيثمة. وتفقه على أبي يوسف، وكان من كبار أصحاب أبي يوسف ومحمد، وروى عنهما الكتب والأمالي وشاركه في ذلك أبو سليمان الجَوزجاني، وهما من الورع وحفظ الفقه والحديث بالمنزلة الرفيعة، عرض عليهما المأمون القضاء فلم يتقلّداه. ذكره تقي الدين.
