٤٨٦٨ - الشيخ بدر الدين أبو الثناء محمود بن عبد الله الكُلُستاني الحنفي السرائي ثم القاهري (١)، المتوفى بها سنة إحدى وثمانمائة. اشتغل أولاً ببلاده، ثم ببغداد ودمشق وأقام بها مدة، ثم بالقاهرة ودرَّس بالظّاهرية والأسدية والشيخونية والصيرغتمشية وولي كتابة السرّ وكان حسن الخط جداً، ذكياً، فصيحاً بالعربي والفارسي والتركي ونظم "السراجية" في الفرائض ويعرف بالكُلُستاني لكونه كان في ابتداء أمره يكثر الاشتغال في "كتاب كُلستان" للشيخ سعدي. ذكره تقي الدين.
