(٦). تفقه باَمل وقرأ الفقه على الشيخ أبي حامد والفرائض على ابن اللبّان والأصول على القاضي أبي بكر [بن الباقلاني] وصنَّف كتباً كثيرة، وقرأ عليه الشيخ أبو إسحق [الشيرازي] وقال: كان حافظاً للمذهب والخلاف وله مؤلفات في الفقه والخلاف والأصول والجدل ودرّس ببغداد وأملى.
