٤٨٤٣ - الشيخ أبو الثناء محمود بن أحمد بن محمد الفَيُّومي الأصل الحَمَويّ الشافعي، المعروف بابن خطيب الدّهشة (٢)، المتوفى بحماة سنة أربع وثلاثين وثمانمائة، عن أربع وثمانين سنة. حفظ القرآن وكتباً ورحل [إلى] مصر والشام، فأخذ عن أئمتها، إلى أن تقدَّم وولي قضاء حماة، ثم صرف واشتهر ذكره بالإقراء والإفتاء وعظم قدره وصنَّف الكثير، منها "لباب القُوت" للأذرعي ومختصره وكَمّل شرح السبكي على "المنهاج" وغير ذلك. وكان صالحاً صاحب نسك وتأله. ذكره السخاوي في "الضوء". ٤٨٤٤ - الشيخ الإمام أبو الثناء محمود بن أحمد بن محمود بن بختيار الزنجاني (٣)، صاحب "التفسير" (٤)، المتوفى سنة ست وخمسين وستمائة.
