٤٨٣٣ - القاضي سِرَاج الدين أبو الثناء محمود بن أبي بكر بن أحمد الأُرْمَويّ الأصولي الشافعي (١)، المتوفى بقُونية سنة اثنتين وثمانين وستمائة، عن ثمان وثمانين سنة. كان إمام التحرير والتدقيق وعالم الوقت على التحقيق، تفرَّد في مصره وتقدم على أهل عصره. رحل الطالبون إليه، له مصنّفات مفيدة، منها "شرح الوجيز" و"التحصيل" في الأصول و"اللباب"، "مختصر الأربعين في أصول الدين" و"البيان" و"المطالع" في المنطق وغير ذلك وقيل إنه "شرح الوجيز" في الفقه. قرأ بالموصل على الكمال ابن يونس.
