٤٦٥٦ - أبو بكر محمد بن مسعود الخُشَني الأَندلسيّ الجَيَّاني النحوي، المعروف بابن أبي الرُّكب (٣)، المتوفى في ربيع الأول سنة أربع وأربعين وخمسمائة. قال ياقوت: كان من مفاخر الأندلس، أستاذاً نحوياً. روى عن ابن سِرَاج وأخذ النحو عن أبي العافية وكان من أجلِّ أصحابه و"شرح كتاب سيبويه" وأقرأ ببلده ورحل إليه الناس لتقدمه في "الكتاب" [في وقته] وانتقل آخر عمره إلى غرناطة وولي [الصلاة و] الخطبة وروى عنه أهله [مصعب وغيره]. ذكره السيوطي.
