٤٥٢٠ - الإمام ابن الإمام أبو عثمان محمد بن محمد بن إدريس بن العباس بن عثمان بن شافع الشافعي (٤)، المتوفى بالجزيرة بعد سنة أربعين ومائتين، عن ... سمع أباه وسفيان ين عُيينة وأحمد بن حنبل. وولي القضاء بالجزيرة وحدَّث.وللشافعي ولد آخر يسمى محمد أيضًا قدم مصر مع أبيه وهو صغير فتوفي بها سنة ٢٣١. ذكره السبكي.
