٤٤٠٦ - محمد بن علي بن يحيى بن علي الغرْنَاطي المعروف بابن الشّامي النحوي المالكي (١)، المتوفى بالمدينة في صفر سنة خمس عشرة وسبعمائة، عن ست وثلاثين سنة. ولد بغرناطة وقرأ بالسبع على ابن الزّبير والنحو على التوزري وسمع "الموطأ" من أبي محمد بن هارون وغيره، وسمع منه البِرْزَالي وغيره، وجاور بالحرمين و "شرح الجمل" وكانت له دنيا يتجر بها، أديبًا، فقيهًا، نحويًا، شاعرًا (٢)، يناظر في الفقه على مذهب مالك والشافعي ويقرئ العربية. ذكره السيوطي.
