٤٣٤٨ - الشيخ أبو بكر محمد بن علي بن إسمعيل العَسْكَري، المعروف بمَبْرَمَان النحوي (١)، ولد بطريق رَامْهُرْمُزْ وأخذ عن المبرّد وأكثر بعده عن الزَّجَّاج. أخذ عنه الفارسي والسِّيرافي وكان ضنينًا بالأخذ عنه، لا يقرئ "كتاب سيبويه" إلاّ بمائة دينار وله قصة فيه مع أبي هاشم الجُبَّائي تأتي في الخاتمة (٢). وكان مع علمه ساقط المروءة وله من التصانيف "شرح سيبويه" ولم يتم شرح شواهده، و "شرح كتاب الأخفش"، و"النحو المجموع على العلل"، و"العيون"، "التلقين"، و "المجازي"، و "صفة شكر النّعم". ذكره السيوطي.
