٤٣٣٧ - الشيخ عزِّ الدين محمد بن علي بن إبراهيم بن شَدَّاد بن خليفة بن شَدَّاد الحلبي الكاتب المنشئ (١)، المتوفى بدمشق في صفر سنة ٦٨٤ أربع وثمانين وستمائة، عن إحدى وسبعين سنة. كان فاضلًا، صنَّف "تاريخًا" لحلب و "سيرة للظاهر بيبرس" و "تاريخًا" آخر سمّاه "الدّرة الخطيرة في أسماء الشام والجزيرة" (٢). ذهب في الرسالة عن الناصر يوسف إلى هُلاكو وغيره وكان أديبًا. سمع وروى. ذكره ابن أبي شريف وابن حبيب.
