٤٣١٢ - القاضي أبو الفرج محمد بن عبيد الله بن الحسن بن الحسين [بن أبي البقاء] البصري النحوي (٥)، المتوفى في محرم سنة تسع وتسعين وأربعمائة. قال ياقوت: قرأ الأدب على أبي غالب بن بشران والفقه على القاضي أبي الطّيب والشيخ أبي إسحق الشّيرازي والماوردي. وروى عنه كتبه كلها وكان حافظًا للفقه (٦)، حسن المذاكرة، محتشمًا عند السلاطين. وله تصانيف [حِسَانٌ] منها "مقدمة في النحو" و "كتاب المتقعِّرين". ذكره السيوطي. ٤٣١٣ - محمد بن عُبيد الله بن عمرو (٧) العُتْبِي [الأخباريّ الشّاعر] (٨).
