٤٢٩٠ - الإمام المؤرّخ أبو الحسن محمد بن عبد الملك بن إبراهيم بن أحمد الهمداني الشافعي (١)، المتوفى في شوال سنة إحدى وعشرين وخمسمائة، عن ثمان وخمسين سنة. سمع أبا الحسين ابن النقّور وطراد الزَّينبي وروى عنه الحافظ ابن عساكر وله "الذيل على تاريخ ابن جرير" و"الذيل على الذيل" الذي عمله الوزير أبو شُجَاع و"عنوان السير" و "أخبار الوزراء" و "طبقات الفقهاء". ذكره السبكي.
