٤١٤٠ - الشيخ الإمام أبو عبد الله محمد بن شُجَاع الثَّلْجِي -بالثاء المثلثة والجيم- الحنفي ويقال ابن الثّلْجي (٦)، فقيه العراقيين. المتوفى بالعراق في ذي الحجة سنة ست وستين ومائتين عن[خمس وثمانين سنة]. كان فقيه أهل العراق في وقته، من أصحاب الحسن بن زياد اللؤلؤي وحدَّث عن يحيى بن آدم هاسمعيل بن عُلَيَّة ووكيع ومحمد بن عمر الواقدي، وروى عنه جمع، وصنَّف كتباً، منها كتاب "تصحيح الآثار" كبير و"كتاب النوادر" و"كتاب المضارب" وكتاب الردّ على المشبهة، وله ميل إلى مذهب المعتزلة. ذكره تقي الدين.
