٤١٢٢ - القاضي أبو عبد الله محمد بن سلامة بن جعفر بن علي القُضَاعي (١)، مؤلف "كتاب الشهاب" (٢) الشافعي، المتوفى بمصر في ذي الحجة سنة أربع وخمسين وأربعمائة، عن .... كان من أعيان الفقهاء والمحدِّثين، سمع خلقاً منهم أبو الحسن بن جهضم وأبو محمد النحاس، وروى عنه الحُمَيْدي وغيره. قال ابن ماكولا: كان متفنناً في عدة علوم، تولى قضاء مصر وله "تاريخ" مختصر من مبتدأ الخلق إلى زمانه وكتاب "أخبار الشافعي" و"معجم شيوخه" و"خطط مصر". روى عنه الخطيب وابن ماكولا. ذكره السبكي وابن قاضي شهبة.
