[٦٠٩٢] (سى - تمييز) محمد بن سفيان. عن: الأعمش. كذا في النسخة بمسند على للنسائى وهو غلط، وإنما صوابه: محمد عن سفيان الثورى، وهو: محمد بن عبد الوهاب القناد، ومحمد بن عبد الوهاب القناد أخو فُضيل بن عبد الوهاب كنيته أبو يحيى وكان أصله من أصبهان وولاؤه لآل ثعلبة بن قيس - سكن الكوفة. يروى عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد، والشيباني. روى عنه: هارون بن إسحاق الهمداني، وأهل العراق. ومات سنة (٢١٢). قاله ابن حبان في "ثقاته" وستأتى ترجمته في مكانه بالاختلاف في تاريخ وفاته إن شاء الله تعالى وقدره.
