٤١١٠ - الشيخ أبو بكر محمد بن السَّري ابن السَّرَّاج [البغدادي] النَّحَوي (٥)، المتوفى شاباً سنة ست عشرة وثلاثمائة عن ... قرأ على المبرِّد "كتاب سيبويه" ثم اشتغل بالموسيقى فسئل عن مسألة بحضرة الزَّجَّاج فأخطأ، فوبّخه الزَّجَّاج، ثم رجع إلى الكتاب وعوَّل على مسائل الأخفش والكوفيين وخالف أصول البصريين فصئف "الأصول الكبير" و"جمل الأصول" و"الموجز" و"شرح سيبويه" و"الاشتقاق" و"احتجاج الفرَّاء" و"الشعر والشعراء" و"الرياح والهوى والنار" و"الخط الهجاء" و"المواصلات والمذكرات". أخذ عنه الزجّاجي والسيرافي والفَارسي والرُّمَّاني. ذكره السيوطي.
